About Ancestral Skin 

Our journey began with a challenge close to our hearts — caring for the delicate skin of our beautiful daughter, who has Down syndrome. Like many parents, we tried countless sunscreens, soaps, and creams, but everything seemed to cause irritation or discomfort. Nothing felt truly safe or soothing, until we decided to take matters into our own hands.

 

We began developing natural alternatives and soon discovered the incredible benefits of tallow. Gentle, nourishing, and rich in skin-loving nutrients, it was everything her sensitive skin needed. 

 

We then grew a fan base of family and friends and what started as a personal solution grew into something bigger.

 

We've navigated the long and careful process of gaining approvals and meeting strict standards and are now proud to share our products with you.

 

Every item is crafted with the same care, intention, and integrity we brought to our very first batch — because we know firsthand how important it is to trust what touches your skin.
